PASSION AND PURPOSE

Cheryl chose ceramics and a career in art after graduating from college in 1977. She flourished for decades, producing functional pottery that preserved the traditions of handmade arts and crafts for others to enjoy.

In time, Cheryl’s relationship with clay changed. She loosened up. Less concerned with the control required to produce functional pottery, Cheryl discovered art in flaws and imperfections. She hand-built unique pieces that reflected her awe of natural creations, the beauty of which she never tires of—like a song that never grows old.

Now living in the Portland, Oregon, area with her family nearby, Cheryl enjoys sharing her studio with her three talented grandchildren.
