Applying a handle to a leather-hard clay cylinder, incised and shaped on my potter's wheel.
Since high school, I've thrown cylinders large and small, on both electric and kickwheels. I've trimmed, decorated and glazed the forms ranging from thimble-sized salt-shakers to wall-size platters. I hand-craft functional pottery that is dishwasher safe, oven-proof--stoneware that matches my personal taste and reflects my love of family, friends and the Oregon environment.
